Tapering- / Parabolic Taper Rolling Plants

Parabolic springs are characterized by a special rolling profile at the spring ends. High precision requirements are placed on the rolling process.

Both for OEM springs and the aftermarket, WEISS has set standards for the rolling process for decades.

A special form of parabolic taper rolling machine was developed specifically for tapering rods for coil spring manufacturing.

Since then, the rolling plants have been systematically enhanced, considering modern spring evolutions such as trailing arm profiles. Not only the machines but also the adapted optimized control systems have been continuously perfected by WEISS engineers.
